I’m a senior magazine journalism major originally from Inver Grove Heights, Minn. I studied abroad for a semester in Salzburg, Austria, and spent this past summer as a digital intern for the Cooking Channel in NYC. I have also worked as an editorial assistant for Midwest Living’s Custom Media department, an online editor for Drake Magazine, and as a communications intern for the Metropolitan Council in St. Paul, Minn. Outside of school I love running, traveling, reading Harry Potter, eating chocolate (let’s be real, who doesn’t?) and re-reading Harry Potter some more. After graduation, I hope to publish a novel or work in non-profit marketing/communications. Despite my lack of any medical expertise, I’m quickly learning about Diabetes and very excited to spend this year with the Diabetic Living team educating and helping readers with the disease.
