Laura Johnson will be apprenticing at Living the Country Life this fall and spring. Having been raised on a farm in Northwest Iowa, but never having been the “farm girl” type (her mom delights in telling stories to prove thereof), Laura believes this will be a learning adventure and is excited for the opportunity.
Laura’s past experience includes working as a news correspondent for the Fort Dodge, Iowa, newspaper The Messenger, as an intern at Freestyle Public Relations in Des Moines, and as a social media marketing intern for Parents magazine. She’s also involved with Drake several publications on campus.
When she’s not writing or working on schoolwork, which usually saps up all of her time, Laura enjoys reading books, shopping, and trying new types of cheese, which she cites as one of the best foods on the planet.
